Russian President Vladimir Putin will have to show a lot of creativity to get people to continue his war in Ukraine. After deploying soldiers from North Korea and Africa, recruiting serious criminals with the promise of a clean criminal record after completing a military mission and lowering the minimum age as well as raising the maximum age of recruits, the Kremlin has now found another way to go about it.

For four years, Russia, led by President Vladimir Putin, has been waging a violent and bloody war against Ukraine. After all, Putin wants to conquer Ukraine and make it part of Russia. However, the Ukrainians are defending their country with everything they have. One million people already died in this conflict.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Monday that removes financial debts from recruits enlisting in the war in Ukraine. Russia has long been trying to recruit recruits to the war, which has been raging since February 2022, with attractive wages and social benefits.

The new law makes debts of up to 10 million rubles (about 120,000 euros) disappear for those who sign a contract of at least one year with the Russian military by May 1, provided the recruit is active on the Ukrainian front line. Their partners' debts can also be cancelled, but only if they are existing debts and not new ones.

Now, there are about 700,000 Russian military personnel stationed in the war zone around Ukraine. The losses are substantial: about 30,000 military personnel drop out every month.
