US President Donald Trump is currently so busy with the Middle East crisis that he may not even make it to his son's wedding this weekend.
President Trump admitted on Thursday that he's not sure if he will be able to attend the wedding of his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. (48) this weekend. This was reported by BBC and NBC News.
"He would like me to come," the president replied, referring to his eldest son. "But it will be a small and intimate gathering. I'm going to try to be there," Trump replied when a journalist asked him about it during a press conference at the White House. At the same time, the US president stressed that the timing of the celebration could not be worse. "This is not a good time for me. I'm busy with Iran and other things. If I do go, I will be finished. If I don't go, I'll be finished too. By the fake news media I mean," he said. The president wished the couple good luck in advance. "Hopefully they will have a wonderful marriage," he said.
On Saturday, Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. (48) is getting married to model Bettina Anderson (39). The celebrations are taking place in the Bahamas. As per weekly custom, the White House shared the president's schedule, which indicate that Trump will be in New Jersey on Saturday.
It is Donald Trump Jr.'s second marriage and third engagement. He was previously married to Vanessa Trump, who is now in a relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods. Donald and Vanessa were married for 13 years and have two children together: daughter Kai and son Donald III.
