According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there were 233 combat engagements along the front line between Ukrainian and Russian forces over a 24-hour period on Thursday, with thousands of Russian drone attacks across multiple axes.
According to Ukrainian army commanders, Ukrainian troops repelled dozens of attacks, particularly near Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk, as they announced via their Telegram channel.
"The aggressor carried out 57 airstrikes using 167 guided bombs, deployed 6,282 kamikaze drones for attacks, and fired 2,239 rounds at our troops’ positions and populated areas," the message from Thursday evening reads.
"According to preliminary estimates, 54 invaders were killed and 11 wounded. One vehicle and one motorcycle were destroyed. One vehicle and one piece of specialized equipment were damaged, as were 22 shelters. 151 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.”
The heaviest fighting took place near Sloviansk, where Russian troops carried out 30 attacks, as well as in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka, where 33 Russian attacks were recorded. On the front near Pokrovsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 Russian attacks.
