Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warns that Russia could launch another large-scale wave of attacks on Ukraine in the coming days. “Please take the air raid alerts tonight and in the coming days very seriously. The Russians have been preparing for a new large-scale attack, the president said in a warning to his fellow citizens.

On Saturday, at least four people were killed and six wounded in a Russian airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia. Ivan Fedorov, the governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, reported via the messaging service Telegram that nine bombs struck the city center. The number of casualties from the bombing may rise even further. Rescue workers fear that people may still be trapped under the rubble of a destroyed building.

In addition, one person was killed during a Russian bombing of the city of Kharkiv, in northeastern Ukraine early on Saturday morning. The victim was a resident of a residential neighborhood, confirmed Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov on Telegram. At least nine people were also injured in the nighttime attack, according to Oleg Synegoubov, head of the Kharkiv military administration.

Russia had also carried out attacks earlier on Saturday in various locations in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian combat drones and long-range artillery wounded a total of at least nine people there.

On the Russian side, the Ministry of Defense reported that as many as 187 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the country during the night from Friday to Saturday, including in the Moscow region.

One person was killed and two others were injured following a drone attack on a Panamanian-flagged ship in the Black Sea.

One crew member was killed and two others were injured in a drone attack on the Panamanian-flagged ship sailing in the Black Sea. The Panamanian Maritime Authority reports that the incident occurred on Thursday and that one of the injured is in serious condition.

Although the ship was damaged, it was able to continue on its route after the attack. The authority has since initiated procedures to gather official information about the incident and is in contact with the parties involved.

No information has been released regarding the origin of the drone attack. Panama, which administers the world’s largest ship registry with approximately 16 percent of the global merchant fleet flying its flag, does advise ships to avoid Ukrainian and Russian waters in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
